Christopher and Megan
We're looking to adopt a baby
Hello! We’re Megan and Christopher. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about us and our family.
We met each other while working together during college. While just friends for some time, our relationship began to grow into something more as we shared a common faith and a love of theology, education, ministry, and coffee. Chris took a bit longer to warm up to the idea of dating, but less than a year after dating we were engaged. Four months later, in 2013, we were married.
In 2013, we had our first daughter, Annette, followed by our two sons, Abraham and Castiel. We also spent several years as licensed foster parents, caring for a number of other children in our home. After a few years of fostering, we also began our private adoption journey. In the midst of fostering and beginning our adoption journey, Megan also became pregnant. We sadly lost our son, Darcy, who was born sleeping in May of 2021. We then got pregnant again unexpectedly a few weeks later with our rainbow baby girl, Liesl, who was also born sleeping in September 2021. We did close the door on fostering, but we have continued pursuing private adoption.
Our greatest priority is our faith. We seek to love God and love others well and instill this in the hearts of our children. Our faith impacts every aspect of our family life, from our parenting style to our daily rhythms, and we look forward to welcoming another little one into this house full of love, joy, and faith.
